Mathildis likes to integrate recongnizable shapes in her abstract art work. Resulting in a unique piece that invites the spectator to feel, look and search for the deeper meaning inside the work. Playing with concepts like “to be/to appear”, “to look/to see” intrigues Mathildis. Behind the deceptive simplicity hides a bigger meaning.
